Very entertaining and interesting. Oliver the guide knew his stuff and had a good sense of humour. Take a warm jacket, it's a constant cool temperature in the caves
Excellent ! The guide was very knowledgeable and made the stories come to life. She was also very good at keeping the children in the group involved. I would definitely recommend this awesome site. I was lucky to be in the last tour of this year.
A place not to miss. It's history is amazing and our guide Ashleigh certainly brought it to life. It made me see the buildings in Britain built from this stone in a very different light. What stories this place tells! Take your children to see and hear how others lived and died
Highly recommended! We came here not knowing what to expect and were blown away by the tour. Our guide Viv was fantastic. She put us completely at ease and was a wealth of information. Each new chamber we entered came with a new story about the people that worked there. Some stories were fun, some inspiring and some heartbreaking. It is cold down there so bring a jacket, but the tour isn't taxing and absolutely worth the price. If I'm ever in the area again I'm going back.
Fantastic day out! Really interesting and insightful. Lovely people working there. Highly recommend. (Wear warm clothes! We went in peak summer with temperature of 28 degrees - it was still quite chilly in the caves!)
