We recently had a weekend of exclusive hire at Beer YHA and we would highly recommend it. The house and gardens are just brilliant for family and friends to gather together. We found it very clean and in good condition. We would certainly revisit. It loses a point for the kitchen, which lacked sufficiently robust equipment for a large group, it is more designed for lots of individuals. Maybe a commercial oven and fridge could be considered?

Being redecorated. Small and cosy. Nice pictures and obviously plenty of thought went onto it. Feel welcome.
I stayed here for 2 nights. This is a lovely hostel! The building is really nice. The staff were pleasant. The camping area looks like a good place to stay. The room was nice and the bed comfy. The facilities were clean and good quality. The kitchen was well stocked. The dining room was pleasant. The lounge was small but comfortable. There's a drying room for wet gear, handy for walkers. There's some great walking in the area. Beer is a lovely little place with plenty of pubs. The nearby town has plenty of shops. I would love to stay here again, for longer!
Lovely staff. Great for young people. Bit hard for older people. Lovely house. Need more staff as felt very sorry for 1 person doing everything with a cheery disposition.
